Rescuing and Rehoming Animals

Pet Welfare has been in operation since 1982 where
they were once just giving the cats and dogs away
because there were so many and they were just happy
to find a home for all the strays. Still to this day Pet
Welfare is a no-kill facility open to the public trying to
aid the military when they have to leave their pets
behind.
In 2002, after 6 years of hard fundraising, PW
celebrated the grand opening of a new facility. We are
always in need of volunteers and foster homes and
depend solely on donations and grants.
Everyday we love and care for animals in need and
on those days when we feel we’re the only ones caring
or can barely think straight because we’re so tired, we
pick ourselves up and look around and remember what we do it for...
